Quick chat

Got a number? Open the chat and review your message.

Open a WhatsApp Web chat without saving the contact for a quote request, delivery question or one-off customer enquiry. Choose the country, enter the number and prepare an optional message. The text remains a draft for you to review and send manually.

Available on Free and Pro with the extension in Chrome or Edge, an internet connection, and an active WhatsApp Web session. Opens one number at a time. Panel choices and text are temporary; an existing draft in the WhatsApp message field is not overwritten.

From a phone number to the right conversation

Quick chat handles occasional contacts: enter a number and continue in WhatsApp Web itself. The panel closes once the destination conversation is confirmed.

  • Open a conversation by phone number without adding an address book entry.

  • Select the country and validate the phone number before opening the chat.

  • Edit an optional greeting and send it yourself from WhatsApp Web.

  1. 01

    Enter the country and number

Open Quick chat from the TappyWhats menu. Select the country and type the phone number; formatting follows the country you choose.

  2. 02

    Prepare an optional message

Enable the optional message, choose a greeting language, and edit the text. Changing the language preserves your own edits.

  3. 03

    Open, review, and send

Start the conversation. After checking the number on WhatsApp and confirming the destination, the extension opens the native chat and inserts the optional draft. You review and send it.

Example: a repair quote request

A repair shop receives a phone number through its quote form. A staff member opens the conversation without saving the contact and prepares a question about the appliance model. They check the number and message in WhatsApp Web before sending.

Does it save the contact or send the message automatically?

No. It opens the conversation without creating an address book entry. The optional message stays in the WhatsApp composer for you to review and send manually.

Can I open a chat with any number?

The phone number must be valid for the selected country and registered on WhatsApp. The panel reports verification or opening failures; it cannot make an unregistered number reachable.

Does the language choice translate my writing?

It changes the built-in greeting while that greeting is still unedited. Your custom text is preserved without automatic translation. AI translation is a separate TappyWhats feature.

Is this the same as Quick replies?

No. Quick chat opens a conversation by phone number. Quick replies is the library of reusable messages. Preparing a draft here does not save it to that library.
